Description of Service
Mongo is a fitness accountability app that allows users to:
- Book gym workouts, runs, and step goals with a financial stake
- Have stakes donated to a user-selected charity if commitments are missed
- Participate in Friend Challenges with other users
- Track fitness streaks and progress

User Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Providing accurate information when creating your account

Financial Stakes and Payments
- Stakes are processed securely through Stripe
- By setting a stake, you authorize Mongo to charge your payment method if you miss a commitment
- Missed commitment charges are donated to your selected charity
- Mongo does not retain any portion of your stake
- All charges are subject to Stripe processing fees (~3%)
- Stakes are non-refundable once a commitment is missed
- Stakes are processed securely through Stripe

Pro Subscription
- Pro features are available via monthly or annual subscription
- Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period

You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to manipulate or falsify workout completions or check-ins
- Interfere with the App's operation or security
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

Health Kit
If you grant HealthKit permissions, Mongo will access step count data solely to verify step goal commitments. This data is not shared with third parties.

Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Mongo and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written consent.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Mongo is provided "as is" without warranties
- We are not liable for missed workouts, payment issues, or health consequences
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months
- We are not responsible for third-party services (Stripe, Apple Health)

Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes will be resolved in Ontario courts. For disputes under $10,000, we encourage informal resolution — contact us before pursuing legal action.
